I always saw this book in Kino whenever I dropped by to browse through books
I read about the short sypnosis
always held the book in my hands
but
I never bought it

Lucky lucky me,
chanced upon this book when I went to AMK library!

it's about this little boy who lived in Afghanistan, revolving around his life from childhood to adulthood. How he yearn for something, dammed himself because of something and redeemed himself. well all the something is 'cos I can't reveal anything!
but ya, it's interesting to know what Afghanistan was like before. Prior to that, I only know Taliban, terrorists, war, discrimination against women......
but it's sad to know a country that used to flourish is in tatters now

definitely worth a read!

oh, those lazy to read can wait for the movie too!

Just watched 881 with my mum yesterday and I really enjoyed the show. But it's weird 'cos the cinema was filled with aunties and uncles! But I went at an odd timing la~

throughout the movie, there are so many hokkein songz~

I was busy reading subtitles but generally the songs I knew that from ermz.. my mum's consitent playing of hokkein songs every now and then..

anyway, I was totally addicted to this song, 一人一半， here's the MV!

4th day at Grampians - ain't no mountain hIgh enough!

Rise & shine!

it's a cold cold morning againz

today we took a rest from cooking brekkie and head to Quarry Restaurant
for breakfast
as recommended by babe!

we ordered 2 breakfast to share
forgot the name but I remember got
bacons, garlic sautee mushrooms, sausages, muffins, grilled tomatoes, toast,
yummy stuff..
guess I was too hungry to attack the breakfast that I forgot to take photo! =(

We started out tour of the Grampians National Park
from Halls Gap and headed to
the B0roka Lookout
the 1st lookout was easy as it was just a few metres away from the carpark

The Balaconies

highly anticipated this place as we saw a poster at the visitor information centre that it's so beautiful!

Mackenzie Falls

Waterfalls!
I love waterfalls!

we drove up to Mackenzie Falls.
According to the information plaques, there used to be a family who owes a sawmill
living up here.

but the climb up back to our car was horrendous.... *pant pant*

we done all these in 1 morning gosh!

we headed back to our resort for lunch

time for planning again!

I guess i have been slacking for too long *gosh*
ever since i came back from aussie
I have been attending LnEs, doing f/up, going home at 6

but now
so many things to do for planning plus i'm doing this client the first time!
Sooo overwhelming!
*pull hair*

plus plus lotsa stuff to thInk about =(

anywayz,
i'm looking forward to bangkok trip in Sept!
before the interim madness starts & the neverending peak sets in again

for now i've got my jolly mah (aka "mehmeh") to hug for comfort

actual size of "mehmeh" is only slightly bigger than my hand

*mood: sian, headache, moody...ah...complicated*

ah xianz is going to the NDP!
