Grampiams - 3rd - 5th day

We started 3rd day with a drive to Grampians National Park which we will stay till Fri. can wait to see what grampians can offer us!

our fuel tank was low, thus, when we saw the petrol stn sign turnoff, we quickly exit. But we din expect the petrol station to be a real small town kind!

looks a lot like wel, u know, those hostel, wolf creek, kinda deserted petrol station with lotsaa scarpped vehicles at the back~~ and roads were deserted... scary! best is we couldn't find a guy to help us with filling our tank.. some guy managed to pop out of nowhere and just said"help yourself"

so me n ah ser... became the petrol stn fuel tank filling girls!

On the road again

the bo liao us snapping away while yan yan munch away

lotsa meh meh along the road~~ initially i was still v excited to see those white fluffy animals along the way but i got sick by the end of the road trip oops

finally we reahed grampians! but since it's getting dark soon... we went to the 1st trail walk - Fyans Creek, before checking in to our resort..

nothing much there except lotsa wild Kangaroos around! cute! =)

then we checked into Parkgate resort (booked it through wotif.com) with a self equipped kitchen!!

chefs for dinner was ah ser with me as assistant, yan as the chicken shredder and min well...leg shaker..

together we whipped up pasta in tomato sauce with chicken shreds, boiled vege and my fav drink! SOLO lemonade! =)

off to zzzzzz

2nd Day - Philip island

with

Drivers: ah ser (can't find a photo w ah ser on the wheel) & xiaomin

Navigator: ah xianz

welfare girl: yan yan

we set off sorta late and it was already 5++pm when we reached there!

we were so scared that the penguins are already walking home! heng we r in time!
it's really cold there! the signboard indicates jacket+scarf+gloves!

we all huddled together at the grandstand and braved the cold wind from Antartica together while waiting for the cute penguins to come up! it's really an experience! they are all within centimetres away from us only when we walked back!

really must go! =)

sadly no photos can be taken otherwise the mini penguins will be scared!

no choice but we have to make do with penguin posters

giant koala!

here's a cute sign
