ok it's time to revive this blog!

yup yup it's time to revive this blog. As we are planning to renovate our house soon, I am gathering ideas for our home. I don't want lotsa custom made items fixated to the walls etc, with the exception for my dream ceiling to floor bookcase~ anyway, i will be posting pictures of homes that I like, so it will be a portfolio of home inspirations! I still don't really know what kind of style I want~~ but tentatively it's scandinavian style. timeless, classic furniture that can last~~ :D

it's been a while since I last updated!

here's a quick update~

1. I finally got my driving licence in Feb!! yahoo!!  I love driving!

2. I got my diving license. I'm a PADI certified Open Water diver~~ I got it in Phuket at this dive center called Dive Asia, which is a really really good dive centre. Professional, welfare and nice instructors :D

3. I'm learning Japanese at this language centre called Bunka at Delphi Orchard every Monday evening. It's fun~ even though I'm learning after work but usually the class is pretty engaging. so I won't doze off during class~~the downside is all the weekly writing tests and homework~~ arghz..

finally some updates!

it's been a long long while since I last blogged..
time now is 12.24am Sunday~ I just bathed and finished my spring cleaning!
i threw lotsa stuff today man!
those lect and seminar notes I kept since I grad~ were finally thrown away!
ah ser says...wah liaoz we grad 4 years le u still keep for what~~

I also threw away some shoes which either got hole or heel broken

but I was amazed how many black shoes I have
gosh

into the rubbish dump they go~~
now my shoe cabinet is free for more shoes

other random stuff:

the weekend before new year (the ang mo new year)
me and my friends cooked a yummy laksa dinner
see see looks yummy hor but I tell ya.. laksa is really full of coconut milk lor..



went to q up for bak kwa ~ but heng the q wasn't tt long cos i got mine last week when the price is less than $50! I heard from the news that it'super long q now and record high price of $50!


i also got some new soft toys hee


the orange guy is always terrorising the other two though~

1st yr, I got my roomie & fang to pei me
2nd yr got roomie, fang, & Jules
3yr only me
rooomie 'upgrade' to 21.1km *gasp*
fang still in her lala land while I'm sweating like mad

but both me n roomie were satisfied from the run today!
great sense of achievement man!

Last friday, 23rd Nov

I failed my driving test again..
this time immediate failure

finally my make-up brushes from elf have arrived!
only abt US$ 1 - 2 per brush
so cheap!
but of cos..
the bristles are not even soft like body shop's brushes
but better than those you buy in Sasa

after my driving test,
i went to orchard for some retail therapy
just as i was coming up from the escalator in tangs
I saw ah lian & Paw!
so qiao!
hee so we went shop shop together
paw got a big red longchamp bag & lian got her benetint!
hahaha but i ended up w nothing
except a full stomach from coffee club's chicken pie and chocolate mousse cake =)

after that,
I met minz for dinner
we went to this restaurant,
Kushigin Japanese Restaurant
which was recommend on

we even ordered warm sake
for me to drown my sorrows~
but sake is really yucky!
very strong and hard to swallow
so much for drowning sorrow
it made me more arghz from drinking!

min told me after that,
according to his jap hairstylist,
cold sake is better!!

24th nov, sat

met jingwei (left) for shopping at orchard
and da hua (right) joined us after that

we headed to this open air BBQ seafood place at pandan road!
the food is yummy!
especially the BBQ stingray
the chilli is power!

we later went to The Daily Scoop @ sunset way for ice cream!

the instructor is pretty fast

bangkok trip - Sept - Oct

Bangkok trip 26th Sept - 30th Sept

2nd trip without parents with lee yan!
1st day:

0630 hrs - 0750hrs

it's our long overdue gals only trip together. The last one we went together was onboard Sun Cruise back in sec school. Not sure if you all remember... the cruise ship sunk during one of its voyages onto the sea bed~anyway back to bkk trip.

miss tan came n fetch me in cab and we headed to the Budget terminal at 430am in the morning! I could barely open my eyes @-@
anyway, 1st time at the budget terminal hoho, really budget, there was only 1 food outlet, but heng, it's Hans, so still not bad. We had our breakfast after our check-in... ermz can't rem what I ate (*this is the -ve pt on delayed blogging, cannot rem alot of things le!!*). after our hearty breakfast, we passed the immigration through the automated clearance, where u placed the passport on the machine, *tee* then presed ya thumb *tee* again and viola!! ! hee chopchop fast fast. if only it's for all airports around the world.

We were hanging around the Nuance Watson (DFS in airport) and we left with zip lock bags~~ haha
my earliest purchase! never buy stuff so early in the morning hee~~ 5am!:P

then it's snooze snooze on the plane le~~ -_-ZZZZZZzzz

we finally touched down in Bkk airport and hailed a cab at the departure hall. Heh, think cab fare was less than...350 baht + toll.
But boy, it's a weekday, plus we reached bkk at 8+.. super peak hour! we reached our hotel only at 9+ in the morning =(

hee but our hotel is very nice!!

they just renovated it. the rooms are clean, beds comfy, near to pratunam market..
only letdown was,
the disparity between toilet and the room decor *scratch head*
and there were no nearby BTS station..which makes travelling @ peak hr.. headache

1st stop is pratunam market, within the 1st morning, I think both us of used up 1000baht each~~ gosh..

I love the electric blue sleeveless top~ woohoo! so comfy!

(but sadly the tailor is not really that fantastic~ =< ) white bag for my mum (ermmz.. sadly my chor lor mum spoiled it.. haha)

and how can I forget..bangkok is a paradise for...
LINGERIE!!

and my loot was wrapped nicely in a pink wrapping paper~ by the Siam Paragon staff *grins*
but well... actually Tokyu at MBK is cheaper for the same brand same design cos they got promotion =(! but oh well, i went Siam Paragon 1st.. boohoo!

hee an of cos! how can greedy me not eat in this food paradise too!! :D~~~~~

but see the fat fat slices of salmon sashimi!
thInk at sakae sushi u can get ten pieces or more outta this plate! =P

See how miss tan is totally brighten up from the tiredness of shopping =P by crepes!
for those interested, it's at MBK ah food court level =)

Greyhound Cafe

We also went to greyhound cafe for lunch! It was packed with tai tais w their LVs, guccis, stylish looking people! plus the food is quite good too! think PS Cafe of Bkk =)
I love the cheese shreds on the Caesar salad, reminds me of the ones I had in aussie heh. Only 1 complaint though... there was simply too much sauce.. yucks..



We also dropped by Le Notre,
a famous pastry chain in Paris
the desserts are yummy! and relatively cheap I thInk..
both desserts are slightly under 100baht each
Interested people can drop by basement level of Siam Paragon to have some great desserts =)

in Yaorowat (aka Chinatown)....

Soi Polo Fried Chicken! wooo i love the glistering garlic bits =)

certain parts of the chicken are too tough for my liking though =P

we also ta bao food back to our room to eat cos it was raining that night and we were simply too tired from shopping

i was shocked when we were the only customers when we stepped in

i was disappointed with the amount of curry gravy they gave when we ordered red curry..
'cos i ordered lotsa rice but there was barely enough curry to go with it

it was sad to leave bkk
see even mehmeh misses the soft soft grass it slept everyday~~
and of cos
the nightly activity: Pool
which i won every night..
except on the last day morning..
